GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi visited procession route in Lalamusa to review arrangements for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondal, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Lalamusa Tanveer Abbas and other relevant officials accompanied the deputy commissioner during the visit.
According to official sources, the deputy commissioner was informed that 40 workers under the Suthra Punjab programme had been deployed to ensure cleanliness along the procession route.
She also inspected the Sabeel camp set up for procession participants and directed the authorities concerned to ensure uninterrupted cleanliness, adequate public facilities and other necessary arrangements.
