GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Aug, 2026) The district administration has established a 24-hour Emergency Control Room to ensure a prompt response to emergencies caused by heavy rainfall, urban flooding and other weather-related incidents.
According to official sources, citizens have been advised to immediately contact the relevant emergency services in case of urban flooding, rising water levels in rivers and streams, road damage or any other emergency situation.
The District Emergency Control Room will remain operational round the clock and can be contacted at 053-3727487.
People have also been advised to contact Rescue 1122 for rescue and emergency services, the WASA Gujrat Complaint Cell at helpline 1334 for water supply and drainage-related complaints, and Police Helpline 15 for law and order emergencies.
The district administration urged the public to remain vigilant during the ongoing monsoon season and cooperate with the relevant departments to help ensure public safety.
