NAPLES, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 01st Aug, 2026) A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Campi Flegrei area west of Naples in southern Italy on Friday, causing power outages, disrupting train and metro services, and damaging several buildings.
The Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said the earthquake, which was recorded at 19:46 (17:46 GMT), had its epicentre in the Campi Flegrei area west of Naples at a depth of around three kilometres.
