MURREE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Jul, 2026) The district administration has deployed field teams across vulnerable locations in the hill station to prevent rain-related mishaps during the ongoing monsoon spell.
With the Meteorological Department predicting continued rainfall through August 5, the district administration advised tourists and local residents to avoid traveling to landslide-prone zones, natural streams, and heavy runoff channels.
The administration urged commuters to verify weather updates prior to visiting Murree and report any emergency immediately to Rescue 1122, adding that line departments remain on high alert to handle contingencies.
