FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Jul, 2026) Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Saqib Raza has directed all officers to ensure their presence at designated points and keep machinery operational during the monsoon.
Chairing a meeting here Friday, he said that drainage of rainwater is the top priority during the monsoon, on which no compromise will be made.
He warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against the officers, if anyone was found missing from his duty point.
He further said that all disposal stations should be operated with full capacity, while alternative energy sources such as generators should be used in case of power outages.
He cleared that the leaves of operations officers and staff are canceled during the monsoon and all officers and staff will remain active and ready during the rains.
