RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Jul, 2026) On the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Hasan Mushtaq Sukhera, a training workshop was held at Police Lines Headquarters to promote positive behavioral change among police personnel and improve public service delivery.
The workshop was addressed by SP Security Asghar Ali Goraya and other senior officers.
Police officers and personnel from across the district, including the Elite Force, Traffic Police, and Dolphin Force, participated.
According to police spokesperson, the training aimed to enhance the professional conduct and ethical standards of officers while strengthening their ability to provide citizen-focused policing.
Participants were instructed to treat members of the public with dignity, respect, and courtesy at police stations, checkpoints, police offices, and service centres.
Officers were also directed to ensure the protection of citizens’ dignity, self-respect, and fundamental rights in all circumstances.
Special emphasis was placed on dealing with women, senior citizens, and children with care and resolving their issues on a priority basis while ensuring the delivery of justice.
The speakers stressed that courtesy, patience and respect for the public should be the hallmark of the police force, adding that public trust can only be strengthened through professional and ethical conduct.
Police officials further warned that delays in service delivery, negligence, and irresponsible behavior would not be tolerated. They reaffirmed that, in line with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister and the directives of the Inspector General of Police Punjab, the department remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens while ensuring efficient and responsive public service.
