KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Jul, 2026) The measures have been taken in cooperation with flour mill owners to keep flour prices stable across Karachi, on the directives of Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi.
The Karachi Commissioner’s Office has released details of the flour sale stalls established by flour mill owners for the sale of flour at the government-notified rate.
According to the spokesperson for the Karachi Commissioner, flour is being sold at Rs 125 per kilogram at ex-mill flour stalls established by flour mill owners. Ten-kilogram flour bags are being sold at these stalls for Rs1,250 each.
During the past two weeks, 161,000 ten-kilogram flour bags were sold through these stalls. Overall, 92 flour mills across K arachi are selling flour at the government-notified price.
As per district-wise sales in the district East 14 flour mills sold 323 ten-kilogram flour bags. In district West one flour mill sold 22 bags. In district Keamari seven flour mills sold 1,461 bags through their stalls. In district Korangi stalls operated by 41 flour mills sold 4,582 bags. In district Central eight flour mills sold 2,489 bags and in district Malir stalls operated by 31 flour mills sold 1,633 ten-kilogram flour bags.
